I am at work and am without my seasonal allergy meds. My three choices are: advil, bayer or motrin. What should I take? I will go get real allergy meds after work but until than, one of these will have to do.

I don't think any of those will do anything for an allergy unless you have a headache or other pain.

None of those are allergy meds. Bayer is aspirin, Advil and Motrin are both Ibuprofen.
Unless you get something with an antihistamine, you're not going to find any relief from you allergy symptoms

None of those will help you. You need something with an antihistamine in it. Like Tylenol Allergies. If you have any Tylenol Cold & Sinus around, you might get some relief from that. That's what I've been using lately because my allergy pills aren't always enough.

None of those will help with any allergy symptom but a headache. If you HAVE to, I would try Advil. That's worked for me before to get rid of an allergy headache, though you're still going to feel the pressure of it.

Sorry these are just pain relief none of them have the antihistamine that you need. basically you are looking at Ibuprofen and aspirin (and a combination of the two). They are anti-inflammatories not designed to to any thing but reduce inflammation that caused pain Ibuprofen does this in some part by thinning your blood temporarily.
Not much help for seasonal allergies.

These are all analgesics, but you do have a choice if your allergies are bad. Go to the restroom and rinse your nose out with warm water. Yes, I know it sounds gross, but it really does help. I used to work for an allergist, and he told people to do this all the time. Just snort a handful over the sink, then blow your nose. It rinses out the allergens. that is what your body is trying to do anyway - you sneeze to propel them out, get congested to swell up inside your nose and keep them from going further in, and then runs to wash them away with mucous. Just get a jump on it by decreasing your allergen exposure by rinsing your nose out. It's med.free. I do it each time I mow the lawn.
