has he worn yours before? if so then think how many black shirts people have. If not then mabey he is just waiting for a perfect day to wear it because all his clothes are casual that he had bought and as a gift from you it should be worn special

no way! it's his choice on what he wants to wear. Besides if he wears a different one today he can wear your tomorrow right? Tell him you want him to wear yours! you might get an answer out of him for him not actually doing so.

I don't know. You should ask him about it up front in his face. Tell him "if you don't like it, I'll return it. We can buy one you like." Even if he didn't like it, he should have told you who wasn't to fond of the one you gave him.
