Traditionally, whether a Bar or a Bat, you give money in multiples of the number 18. But if your Bat Mitzvah girl is concerned that whatever monetary gifts she receives will be banked, then the next best thing is a gift of jewelry. Perhaps an I.D. bracelet with her name inscribed on the front and the date of her Bat on the back would be appreciated.

There are several beutiful books on becoming Bat Mitvah such as The Bat Mitzvah Treasury, any of them would be a nice gift.

If she's particularly religious, A book of psalms in Hebrew with translation.

If she's not, or you feel uncomfortable giving her a religious gift, a gift card to a store like the GAP or similar should do the trick. Or...if you know of something that she particularly wants that her parents wouldn't object to, then that, too, would be appreciated.

Visa Gift card - you have to spend it and she's on her own now (symbolically) so it's nice to be able to go out and buy whatever you want.

Exhortation: "be no more children".
For "children" get "tossed to<=>fro".
Children differ nothing from Servants.
Servants: broadmindead & narrowmindead.
More Excellent: is neither broad nor narrow.
POINT: "Grace" is neither of two "law"s in Mt 22.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.
