I'm taking my new Bride to London, Edinburgh, and Glasgow. We are flying into London for 4 nights, then Edinburgh for 3 nights, and Glasgow for 3 nights and back to Boston from Glasgow.

I'm thinking of B&B's in all three locatins since they are inexpensive, but can also be very charming.

Any suggestions on my idea or where to stay? Cheers,

I would recommend the Ibis hotels if you're looking for inexpensive (depending on location, £40-£80 per room per night). They may be a little lacking in character but they are pretty reliable - you know what you're going to get.

Most B&Bs are fine, but (like the one I stayed in last weekend) some can be absolutely terrible. You really need a personal recommendation. Decent B&Bs in big cities can be just as expensive as a regular hotel.

The Lake District. i in my view like the Keswick portion of the Lakes particularly than Bowness because that's a stunning city that's no longer a hectic. there's a magnificent inn in the Lakes called The Samling that's a small cutting-aspect united states homestead inn the position Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman stayed at the same time as they visited that portion of the country. that's no longer overly expensive, particularly if that's for honeymoon.

I'm sure you will have a great time. Try the Tourist Information Offices in these cities for accommodation. They will also give you details of places to see while you're there.
