May I ask, what is someone who is not religious doing on the Religion and Spirtuality site? Seems to me they might not have anything better to do. Seems like they must have such an unfullfilled and boring outlook on life that they need to rile people up, who agrees?

As a Chrisitian I am not trying to be judgmental. It is upsetting to me to see someone like this guy purposely trying to upset believers. True, to each his own, but have a little respect! If you do not believe, then you don't have to be so obnoxious! My job as a Christian is to spread the Gospel, that is what I am trying to do. If someone who is lost is trying to find the way, then be a little mature about it.

You're close, but I think they are empty of any feelings of belonging and lack any true faith. Therefore, they wish to draw attention to themselves by making fun and typing slurs and insults and showing bad manners on the Net. They remain anonymous and feel untouchable, but they are to be pitied, for they seek help with their efforts of attention-getting. They are in need of your understanding. Love them for they know not what they are or do.

I think of it as a chance for a non-beleiver to open their mind and heart. Just think of how many people are on here, if just one gets a change of heart, or even notices the contentment of beleivers, that could spark a fire in them that may someday lead to thousands of lives being changed. Not all miracles need to start off in a huge majestic fashion. Except the challenge, and do your best to keep a Christian outlook on life. Soon others will be influenced, even if they are negative at first. Don't force the issue, just prove it by your attitude and happiness.

Everyone has a right to ask questions here. It may be that certain individuals find out answers through obnoxious, non-standard ways....to each his own.

All are welcome here on the R&S.
Yes, some come just to get others upset.
It doesn't change your beliefs or affect you in any way, so just ignore it if you do not find it amusing.
