her daughter sees spirit
as does mine , as do many other children
so how do children describe people they have never met , never seen a picture of ?
and for those of you saying it is demons ... what God would allow this ?
some people find it easy to laugh and ridicule things just because it hasn't happened to them , that doesn't make it untrue

Sometimes it is a fine line we walk in believing children and thinking that they are just creative. I believe that children are particularly open to spirit energy, so they are likely to see spirits, but that they are also particularly open to being encouraged to continue their imagined stories. I'm not saying I know what is happening in your or this woman's case, but just trying to explain why some people are so quick to ridicule these things. Some children do see spirits, but some children do just make it up and continue because it gets them attention. In being open to the possibility, we must also be careful and objective in our evaluation.

Pangel, I know you are aware that my children and I have seen what we call spirits on many occasions, and that there is much activity in my home.

Children describe these apparitions because they are actually seeing them. As adults, many of us seem to lose our ability to sense, or see, those who have passed before us.

Children, however, are very receptive and more open minded, not yet having learned that society views this phenomena with much skepticism. They act as little energy receivers, much like a radio that is tuned to the right frequency.

These apparitions are not demons. They have the same personality in death that they possessed in life. As most people are good, it stands to reason that most spirits one encounters will also be benevolent.

There are some who may be filled with malice and rage, but they are as rare as those we encounter among the living. They cannot harm anyone-the amount of energy required to be seen negates the ability to do anything else.

I believe that the worlds of the living and the dead coexist simultaneously. Occasionally, we are allowed brief glimpses of the other side. I also feel that they see us as ghosts, and exist in a realm that is unchanged from when they were living.

I believe this because I know that two of the spirits in my home are the original owners. They built this place 60 years ago, and occasionally, my children and I will be awakened by pounding. It didn't take us long to realize that the pounding, rather than being random knocking, had a purpose. It sounds as if something is being built. We have come to the conclusion that what we are hearing is an echo from the past, back to when our home was being constructed.

People who ridicule others for their beliefs are simply shallow-minded skeptics. They don't see these things because they choose not to believe. If they would open their minds to the possibility, then they might experience them also.

I personally don't believe in God but I do believe in spirits. However, I have never seen one.
My friend, who is in her 50's, has seen spirits many times, especially when she was young. She was watching an old titabic movie when she was young (obviously wasn't old then and it was in B&W). This was before they knew that the titanic had caught fire in some places and had split in two but my friend, even as a young child, knew that it had. She told me that she had been sitting beside a spirit who had been on the titanic and was watching with her and kept telling her what had happened and what hadn't.
She also told me that she saw Isambard Brunel, the famous bridge builder, (she grew up around the place he lived) and he told her all about his works so at 5 years old she was given really detailed information to her parents about his work.
My friend is one of the most honest people I have ever known so I completely believe her. Very freaky.
I think that kids are just more open to spirits because they do not have the disillusion we have with the world. There honesty, openess and lack of judgement allows them, I believe, to see and speak to ghosts and I think that many kids imaginary friends are actually spirits.

It ought not to have been made fun of. Some answerers just write back on each and every question. As if gaining points through an anonymous id. shall make them any important person in their society. They seem to have time to waste. About seeing spirits, the Muslims have a saner belief. Alongside Faith in Allah, they pronounce Faith in Angels. The equivalent of Spirits and Demons is not there in the Arabic. They know Angels and Jinn(genie) only. Jinn is recognized to be a distinct creation, apart from Human. An encounter is possible with both the Angels(no gender) and the Jinn- who have male and female among them. They are born; and, they die. They belong to one or the other religions like humans do. So, if a child 'sees' a spirit, the child is telling truth; may have 'seen; an angel or a jinn. The child's spirituality be encouraged.

Most people truly don't understand because they are not spiritually understanding, or openness to the possibilities of Reincarnation, spirits, memories of another life, things like that that are all connected.

I seen spirits since I was three or four, and had memories of people in my head, details of their faces, and I didn't know why. Some of these young children perhaps are having past life memories, and they will forget them as they grow into their new life, and also, for some it's why they see spirits, these are spirits they new from that life, some are their guides. Children are sensitive to the spiritual world, most would grow out of it, and few will remain sensitive to the spiritual world all their life.
These things are not of evil, it's just most people never experience it, they don't understand it, or to be true, they are afraid of it, or the truth, so they claim it's of evil.
So much more we don't know of the other side, just because it's not all mention in the Bible don't mean it's not true. Many things aren't in the Bible.
I know you understand Pangel, this is for them that don't.

Exactly, Pangel.
First, I understand that children can lie, but they ONLY lie when they have a purpose. Why would my daughter lie about seing spirits? What's the purpose?

Second, yes, kids have imaginary friends, but my daughter describes different people every time, and in the begining she used to be afraid of them. Children are not afraid of imaginary friends, they are just friends and period. They use the imagination to create someone to be friend, to have a relationship with, especially when they feel alone. It is not the case of my daughter, she has lots of friends, go to school, have 3 siblings... No, they are not just imaginary friend, I would know the difference, because I had imaginary friends myself.

Third, she saw my father that passed away. People say she is trying to deal with the loss, but it's not the case either, because my father lived and died in Brazil, and we live here in USA since she was 18 months-old. She has no idea he passed away and she has no idea of what is death.

I sincerely believe in my daughter and I would never discourage her, because she would end up not trusting in me again, and would hide everything from me. I feel I have to support her, act naturally. I know this is temporarily, as she grows older she will loose this ability to see spirits, or maybe not, but the point is that that proves that there is life after death and that there is more in life than just what our eyes can see.

Peace!

As an adult christian (still reading?), I see spirits, but not very well. I talk to them, they reply.

Adults in the western culture have been so trained, usually by our science, that spirits do not exist. Our major religious assume anything not God must be demon.

We have been so indoctrinated to not see these things, that an entire legion of spirits could stand in front of most people and they wouldn't notice anything.

Adults in other cultures, those we would call primitive, do not have this problem.

Some westerners have unlearned this blindness.

As i said before i have never see spirits walking around in our midst and i really don't believe that they remain on this earth due to some scriptures i have read, although I'm not going to rule out the idea until i have evidence that the Bible contradicts that statement.

Although i have felt other spirits presence that i would consider demons. That tempt me. But they are not the spirit of the dead. Sometimes as kids we do things to get attention and some are more exotic than others. "Could be" something to get more attention.

And i would never laugh at someone who brings up a issue where they are serious.

I never answered your last question, But I will this one, God can show young kids, angels, My pastor was preaching about 2 months ago & had a chart on the wall that he was using in his sermon & 3 different kids that sat in different parts of the church saw a pillar of Fire light at the same place the pastor was pointing to, & none of these kids told each other what they saw, all 3 went up to the pastor after church with their parents, because their parents was told first, But all 3 had exactly the same story of what they saw, word for word description By descriptions, & their age was 3 & 4 yr. old.

my father in law is a medium and my little boy sees spirits all the time i dont think theres anything wrong with it,if people dont want to believe then thats there choice but why ridicule people for believeing,if this brings peace to someone who has lost someone close and makes the pain abit more bearable then its not a matter to be laughed at,you wouldnt dare laugh at someone on here for being a muslim etc as that would be racist.each to thier own i say!!dont be worried as she will probably stop seeing them as she grows up,children are very seseptable to these things as our animals!!

looks like both your daughters have a gift, like they say, you start young! I dont see why people laugh ok, some people have stronger opinions, but if someone that sees spirit and gets the information right about the person they are speaking to one earth, then yes it is true according to the person whos receiving it.

Well thats yet again my opinion, even if I do get down marks!
