The bible doesnt that im attentive to (ive under no circumstances examine it so it ought to) even if the Hindu scriptures do. Ganja (named after the Ganges River) poisoned the international and Shiva had to devour the ganja with the intention to save humanity from its poison. Thats why he has a blue throat because he fed on what the Hindus believed ganja to be a poison, and his throat grew to develop into blue by way of poisoning. So in accordance to Hindu scriptures the lord Shiva is adverse to the intake of ganja.

I don't have an answer for you but I do have a quote, Bill Hicks 'Are you saying that God did all these great things in creating the world in 7 days, then looked down and went oops Marijuana, I made a mistake' not a word for word quote, just the way I remember it.

Drugs are mentioned in the bible. To my knowledge not marijuana in particular
-12 When you enter the land that God, your God, is giving you, don't take on the abominable ways of life of the nations there. Don't you dare sacrifice your son or daughter in the fire. Don't practice divination, sorcery, fortunetelling, witchery, casting spells, holding séances, or channeling with the dead.

Chemicals including drugs of all kinds are used in these practices.

Well I know "I have given you all the seed-bearing plants and herbs to use" from Genesis 1:12 is frequently cited as God's blanket "endorsement" of weed smoking (among other things). And, really, who are we to argue with God. Justifying anything with reference to "scripture" seems rather idiotic to me, though.

i think every herb has its place and use ... but other than that .. i dont think theres a specific refference ... and any drug or herb that causes a person to get closer or in touch with the spiritual side of life can be misconstrued as the inspiration of the bible .. which IS spiritual ... but inspired by the spirit of God ...
