I don't comprehend your question, so I'm going to beat around the bush and hope I answer it. If you mean that you use both knees to get you up off the floor, that's fine. It makes no difference. It's more dangerous to use only one. If you mean like when you're crouched, again, same thing. The only time using one knee would be better is if you're proposing to someone or you have a fractured/broken knee.

I don't know...never given it much though. I would imagine that it's not cause you're putting the same amount of pressure on each one, using both of them equally, if you were to stand on both at one time. I would think that one by one would cause damage.
