"And ye shall hear of wars & rumors of wars...For nation shall rise against nation, & kingdom against kingdom:" (Matthew 24:7)
At the beginning of Matthew chapter 16 Jesus' religious enemies challenged Him to show them a sign from heaven. He answered and said to them, "When it is evening you say, 'It will be fair weather, for the sky is red'; and in the morning, 'It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.' Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times."
Why do Scientists think they can control the weather?

No! Jesus, is talking of mans downfall. and what will bring it about. And that the time is near For Gods Or Jesus's return. But, Jesus, aslo said these things must pass. In other words
. Hoping man, will remember, His saying. And turn back to God, before it gets to late. God is still willing to give man time to turn themselfs around.
Scienentist, will never be able to control the weather. Becuase ,nature will rise up against it. because nature, can not be controlled. No matter how hard they try.

It could be when considered as part of this
7Â “For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be food shortages and earthquakes in one place after another. 8Â All these things are a beginning of pangs of distress.
9Â “Then people will deliver YOU up to tribulation and will kill YOU, and YOU will be objects of hatred by all the nations on account of my name. 10Â Then, also, many will be stumbled and will betray one another and will hate one another. 11Â And many false prophets will arise and mislead many; 12Â and because of the increasing of lawlessness the love of the greater number will cool off. 13Â But he that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved. 14Â And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.

Wars do not equal global warming by any interpretation.
Scientists don't think they can control the weather per se, but we can stop doing things that will screw it up. Example, if we stop increasing the level of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere that trap more heat and cause the ice caps to melt, then we can keep from screwing up the North Atlantic Current, which is important in keeping our climate working the way it does.

Matthew 24:7 is talking about war. What has that to do with Global Warming?
As far as global warming is concerned, the international community cannot even agree on whether human activities contribute to global warming, let alone how to manage it. But we have held this belief for a long time.
We have been warned about nuclear waste and aerosol sprays, but we just keep ruining the earth. This situation calls to mind the Biblical truth: “It does not belong to man . . . even to direct his step.” (Jeremiah 10:23

I don't think Matthew 24:7 speaks of "Global Warming". Jesus never names exact things that will happen as we reach the end age, just general trends (20-25 trends) which BTW are all in effect today.

No...
Matthew 24 & 25 speak of the birth pangs of the end times...
which we are now living in.
Global warming is not specified in these verses. Besides, the temperature of the earth has only risen like 2 degrees in the last 100 years.....nothing to get up in arms about.
