With SO MANY food recalls lately, has the start of Biological warfare concerned you?!?

I know its crossed my mind several times.
Could it really have already begun?

Crabboy4, it wouldnt have STARTED with the petfood industry.

It was babyfood, pnut butter, chicken....ect...
Like one post here recalls - remember the post office with the anthrax scare?

Interesting - I have not considered it. I'm not sure they would start with pet food, though, even as a test - the animal systems are pretty different.

Unfortunately, I'm sure we're perfectly capable of making the mistakes causing the recalls ourselves.

The question might sound a little paranoid to some, but I just asked my own question about Iran, in the same vein!

The government started it a while back, just think back to the anthrax letters containing high quality weaponized anthrax spores that were getting posted in the states and it was found to be produced by a government lab

Ahh, the unintended consequences of a centralized agri-business. Can't control food supply locally because it all goes into the national supply. Can't control the national supply because it is too unwieldly. At least we all save some pennies on our food.

Our dog food supply has been compromised by terrorists!!!!
The real reason for all the food recalls is conglomeration of food processing into a very few facilities, thus increasing the scope of contamination. Rampant cost-cutting in the retail sector is also partially responsible. Cheaper food comes with fewer quality controls.

I find it difficult to believe we have not been hit with something like that. Either Islamic fascists are really stupid or really patient, hopefully the former.
