I normally pay for everything..... but it was such a nice change that the girl i am seeing .....bought me lunch and a present....
so refreshing.... I was really pleased.....

i treat my guy all the time, im always buying him cds i know he will like for the car or cakes out the lovely bakers up the street for him to take to work for his night shift, i got him a flying lesson for his birthday in may and that wasn't cheap and i always offer to pay for dinner but he doesn't let me, you have to give and take in relationship i luv suprising him with things and it's just to show i thought of him that day and i luv him.

You have been dating the wrong girls. Most of my friends and I are quite happy to go halves, or take it turns paying for nights out/lunch etc.
I think it is nice if a man offers to pay, but equally I think that as most women have jobs these days it is only fair to share costs.
I would not want to feel like I was taking advantage.
Perhaps thats just me though?

Yes it's perfectly normal, when I started going out with my man 5 years ago we used to take it in turns to pay, I think a lot of women do that these days as they are more financially independent compared to the old days.

It's not 1950 anymore, the man is not required to always pay. Dating should be a give and take experience. Apparently you have been dating the wrong kind of girls until now.

yes there are cool girls out there. Many take advantage of guys pay. Some want you to be a gentleman. I personally offer to pay a lot. And there a plenty of girls like that. Glad you found one.

Yes it is normal!! Well normal of any decent girl anyway!!! I always make sure i at least pay for something --- i never let the man pay every time -- its just wrong and damn right rude!!! X

Hey, this is the 21st century right? Us girls have been fighting for equal rights for a fair few decades now and that means paying for lunch and buying prezzies for our guy now and again. Share and share alike!!

It's perfectly normal. I pay for things for my boyfriend sometimes too. We tend to share our money, so it's usually whoever has money on them or whoever didn't pay last time. I've also bought him presents sometimes for no reason.

Yes this can be normal. I treat my man to nice things to and he treat me too. So enjoy the feeling of being treated nice.
