Your symptoms are not all classic symptoms of diabetes but some could fit with it. However if you have had recent infection this could also explain the symptoms. Try not to worry but do see your doctor for a more definite diagnosis. Its very simple to test for diabetes and it can easily be ruled out.

Diabetes is also more common if you have a family history of it at age under 25 ish. The doctor can also test for infection signs eg glandular fever which could also explain many of your symptoms.

Many of the signs of Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes are similar. In both, there is too much glucose in the blood and not enough in the cells of your body. High glucose levels in Type I are due to a lack of insulin because the insulin producing cells have been destroyed. Type 2 diabetes occurs when the body's cells become resistant to insulin that is being produced. Either way, your cells aren't getting the glucose that they need, and your body lets you know by giving you these signs and symptoms.

Frequent trips to the bathroom
Unquenchable Thirst
Losing Weight Without Trying
Weakness and Fatigue
Tingling or Numbness in Your Hands, Legs or Feet
Other Signs and Symptoms That Can Occur

Doesn't sound like diabetes but it does sound bad - get to doctors now. My partner was recently diagnosed with suspected diabetes, symptoms, were nothing like you said - he was cranky sometimes, but had no sleep problems or thirst problems, he was on the borderline but diet improved it.

Please go to a health practitioner and get a checkup. With your history of complaints and signs and symptoms including losing blood, it's time to find out what's going on.
