It sounds like his has this idea of what his perfect girlfriend would be and one of those traits is that she is a virgin. Now, perhaps you fill most of those requirements and his logic dictates that if you meet most of the requirements then you must fit all of them. It sounds crazy but people have a way of convincing themselves of almost anything.
Anyway, it's really not that big of an issue. If you really like him and want to be with him then why not begrudge him a little fantasy. If he wants to believe you're a virgin then let him. After you have sex with him this thing will no longer be an issue anymore.

I think that he says this as a mental not so that there isnt any pressure on him to "perform" like the other guy/s. He is in denial. Either that or he considers you as a virgin because he doesnt consider the past just the present. You told him what the truth was so just let it play out as it should.

Make sure he understands you are not a virgin.
Maybe he doesn't understand what a virgin really is or he's not really ready to take that next step.
What ever you do keep an honest relationship. If you don't the situation may turn around and bit you. Talk to him about it and explain to him. You may also have to explain its okay to have more then one partner. You're in a tough situation.

he just want to butter you up so he can get what he is after...
so don't be surprised if this relationship does not live up to your expectations as it seems this is all he is after.
would he still love you if you stood your ground and did not give him his way? tell him point blank you won't give your honor and respect away to every guy who comes along.
men look at sex as a great conquest. but what counts most is what happens after the actual sex act itself. Don't do something that will only make you feel like you have to do anything. It is your body.
Men could care less about how many "loves" they have as long as they can get what they are after most...and that ain't love

may be because he refuse to hear The true .If he relay loves you. Virginity is not a problem .This is My opinion because I have take 3 virginity's and i was happy to do it

HE IS SSSSSOOOOO IN DENIAL!...talk to him...and ask him why he is acting this way..chances are he does not AT ALL like the fact that you not a virgin and he is...guys are like that you know...they tend to get very insecure, especially when it comes to the sexual encounters!...they think they rule in that department!...so set him straight and find out whats going on in his head!

Just sit him done and have a heart to heart conversation and gently remind him...maybe he didnt hear you when you told him before...but you do need to let him know before anything does happen between the two of you...
