Actually every year I go, there are police officers directing traffic. It's a pretty packed out event. It's this year on April 2nd starting around 7:15 pm - or after sundown.

And you know like I do that there are way more people there on the Memorial than 'any given Sunday'. That's why the cops direct traffic. Why don't you come this year? You are warmly welcome ya know!

Gee...I don't know...maybe you drove past there early??? The Memorial attendance is typically at least double the attendance on a Sunday. Sometimes more. And sometimes the meeting for the Memorial is held at a different site to accommodate more people.

Trust me it makes sense...because most Kingdom Halls have two or three congregations holding the Memorial at the same time..so you need the brothers to direct people out in a timely manner. It keeps things running smoothly.

There are over 6.5 million witnesses. Over 16.5 million attended the memorial last year. That's 10 million more people and their cars! There's also usually more than one at each Kingdom Hall. They have to get everyone out of the parking lot, before the others start to arrive.

I like knowing I don't have to look for a parking space, they direct me right to one.

Everyone's welcome to attend.

why does this bother you so much? I've seen lots of different denominations direct traffic when they have a large service scheduled. Who are they hurting?

And why are you trying to bash the Jehovah's Witnesses?
