NO. If that is your discharge classification you lost ALL use of your GI Bill including VA loans and the money to pay for school. On top of that you are also no longer eligible for ANY federally insured student loans (which is all student loans) so if you want to go to college you are going to have to charge it on a credit card or pay for it our of your own pocket. Forget about all federal jobs or any company that does business with the federal government. That's why people in the military probably told you not to get in trouble when you were on your way to getting such a discharge. It is not worth everything you end up losing in the end, but those are the breaks.

Beats me I got an honorable discharge with medical, and I recieve no benefits from the Army, and I don't apply for a VA loan. You have to know the right people anyways.

No, you can not. If you want more info you can contact your local Veterans Service Office. Depending on the reasons for your discharge, they may be able to upgrade you. You can also call your regional office or go to www.va.gov
