I want to buy a house in sweden and i dont live there,Can I?and if I can does it help getting a resident visa?

I Live in iran and my daughter lives in lund(near malmo) and she has a students visa.

Buying a house in Sweden is possible but it doesn't ensure you a resident visa.

You have to ask the Swedish government about that.
