okay, so....
a boy asked me to a concert, i said yes, he came to the door, and picked me up. but when we got into his truck, it turned out his sister was going too. so we get going, and his cell rings. he pulls into a parking lot, and gets out, his dad hops in, and the boy, takes passanger side. the four of us (me, the boy, his sister, and his dad) go to the concert. it is indoors, and we sit together. he offers to buy me a c-d, and then on the way home, buys me ice cream. when we get to my house, he walks me to the door, and says good night, and that he will see me later.
would you concider this a date? even though it was not one-on-one. from his point of veiw, was it? (hes 18, and very laid back. it was going to just be him and i, but his parents plans failed, so his dad decided to go along, and his sister too.)

I think that it was a date. You should be flattered that he thought of you when he was deciding who he wanted to take with him. It could actually be a good sign that he brought you with his family. Alot of people would have just cancelled if something like that happened but he kept his plans with you. It also shows that he doesn't have a problem being with you in public. Don't worry about it. I would suggest that you ask him out on the next date so that you can make it exactly how you want it and you can show him that you aren't upset about having to go out with his family.

Wow, well it was a date, i think is cute that they went, anyways next time you talk to him maybe you can suggest like just the two of you guys just going somewhere. But dont stress it out, just suggest and he might just agree.

Well it certainly was a date!! Anywhere you go with a guy you like or would like to get to know, no matter who is present with the two of you, is a date! Dating is just getting to know someone....Good luck with everything...
