match? I got five small round diamonds, and 2 small baguettes on the ends, which match the new setting that has a couple baguettes and tiny diamond chips on a somewhat antique setting, placed in square designs.

Is it okay to have the round diamonds on wedding band with the princess cut and setting on engagement ring?

yes, i think that would be perfect that way the main attraction (the princess cut diamond) will stand out more at the same time allowing the round cut diamonds in the engagment ring to be complimented for their sparkle

Yes. you can combine different shapes like that. The ring I bought for my fiance back in November had about a 1 carat center Princess with 2 baguettes and a round on each side of it...she gets complements everywhere we go on it. Its totally okay to combine those shapes together!

I think an antique ring set would be lovely. It is actually better for the world because some diamonds are mined and traded under inhumane conditions these days; you have to be careful where your diamond comes from to make sure you're not supporting a lot of human misery. An antique diamond is one way to avoid this. Plus they often have beautiful settings that you won't find anywhere else, and your ring is more likely to be unique and different from those of other new brides. Congrats!

Yes if you like it that's all that matters. I have a carat round with 2 carats of rounds and baguettes on each side. I happen to think all diamonds are wonderful as long as the quality of the stone is good.

Absoulutely! I have a princess cut in the center of my engagement ring with round diamonds on each side, and my wedding band is an eternity band with round diamonds. It's gorgeous!

YES, I am going through the same thing because my ring is an oval. Go to a fancy store one day and play around and try on different bands... you might be surprised with what you like the best... I was!!

Do YOU like the way it looks? The days of jewelry propriety are long gone, you can now wear silver and gold together, different cut stones, heck you could even wear all your rings on one finger if you like. If you like the look, then you should get it!

Good luck!
