Free will gives us the ability to make good or bad choices in our daily lives. Will we go to work on time or call in sick and play hooky? Will we go to church on Sunday or stay home and watch the football game? Will we have sex with 6 people before we get married or will we wait for our spouse and give ourself to them on our wedding night? Etc.
Then there are the times that we have no control. A drunk driver crashed into us and causes an accident. Maybe even killing us or a loved on in our car. Or we are on a date and they slip us a drug that knocks us out and they take our virginity. Or things like 9/11 happen. This is when bad people us their free wills to alter our lives.
Then there are times when God controls the outcome. Like saving us from 9/11. Or saving us from the car crash. Or by not letting the drug not take affect thus we don't get knocked out and we go to our own home that night and sleep by ourselves. There have been plenty of times that we have heard "that was a miracle". Loved one no longer having cancer, people waking up from a coma after 6 years, surviving a gun shot to the head....
There are many elements that control our lives. But it is God that started it and it is God that will have final say to where we will end up.

Control and choices, 100%.
Free will, 0%.
Free will is an illusion. The mind cannot escape the computational loop of input-process-output, and is therefore subject to the Church-Turing Thesis. In short, the human mind could be duplicated, given sufficient time, memory space, and complex transition rules, on a simple Turing Machine.
We make choices -- these choices are of necessity based on our previous experiences and our current inputs. Given the same experiences and the same inputs, the mind would come to the same conclusion. This may seem a tautology -- that it is a tautology is proof against free will.

If you DON'T control your life 100%, then you're NOT living your life!
Free will is given to us by God, and NOT believing in a religion, is proof of Free will.
When someone believes in a religion, they give up their Free will and become brain-washed/brain-dead by the religion's lies and deception!
Here's the Solution:
Create a private, personal, direct, divine Relationship with Our Creator and save your Soul from religion.
Only with Our Creator's Love and Peace will we be Truly Free!
Without God, there is No Love; Without religion, there are No Wars!
"religion is Spiritual fraud"; "religion is the Worse invention of humanity" - Jesus Christ

I have total control over taking right or wrong action. There is no being that controls me. Even the Buddha would say that it's up to me in the end.

There are al least three dynamics to freedom- Personal, socio-religious, state/governamental.
Human beings are totally free if they are living in moon.
In their personal life tey are governed by the other laws. You are totally free to dance naked but not on the streets.
You are totally free to burn your car but not a post office van.

Ignorance gives us free will. Enlightenment eliminates that free will and opens us the only will that is true: The will of God.
