Then, why does the catholic, church, use it to heal people. If its holy? I mean if they sprinkle babies with it, to keep out sin. Then how come they don't use it to wipe it out?
If the water is pure as it is supposed to be.
Don't you think, it could cure all kinds of, illness?
I mean think about it. It supposed to be pure, its supposed to protect you ,from demons or what have you.
Don't you think the vatican, could find better use for it? And btw, where does the holy water come from anyway?
And how does it get to earth? And why is it stored in a place no one knows about? why is it not open to the public?
So they can come, and dip themselves in it, To be cured? Any one have a answer?

It is symbolic, it isn't meant to cure anything.

First, Catholic holy water is unbiblical. It's just a man made tradition.
854 AD - Holy water introduced which was a mixture of water and a small amount of salt. It was blessed by the priest.
Catholic unbiblical holy water "For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water." Jer 2:13 KJV
Second, Nowhere in the Word of God is there even a portion of a verse that even remotely refers to Infant Baptism. No Baby was ever sprinkled in the Bible.
Just because some big “church” believes it does not necessarily make it correct theology. People will believe things that have absolutely no Biblical basis.
Baptism means nothing unless a person has received Jesus Christ as their Saviour. How can a baby show a good conscience towards God?
Baptism save a person as the Catholic church claims.
The Catholic Pope and his goons cannot unbiblically "infuse" the Holy Spirit into unbelieving babies through infant baptism.
Biblical Baptism means of spiritual renewal. How can a baby need a spiritual renewal?
Biblical Baptism is a public testimony to one's faith in Jesus Christ. How can a baby testify his faith in Jesus Christ? Can a baby talk?
No unclean person can enter God's kingdom! Do you think a priest can clean you with your sins ?
If we can get saved by baptism, then Christ's death was a waste of time. Galatians 2:21.

First, in baptism a person is immersed in the water (if adult, teen or child) or poured over the head (if an infant).
Second, blessed oil is used in the sacrament of anointing of the sick.
Holy water is simply water that has been blessed by a priest. Catholics believe that God created all things and all things can be made holy by God acting through a priest.
Some Catholics do take holy water home to bless themselves. Many Catholics have holy water fonts (a small receptacle for holding water) on their walls at home.

The oil that is used in Catholicism for healing purposes in called Chrism oil. I know that and I'm a Buddhist. Holy water is only used during Baptism and to bless yourself as you are coming into the Church and occasionally when reaffirming Baptismal vows for certain Church holidays/holy days. It's not hidden, the Baptismal font is right there at the front of the Church (sometimes the back) if you feel the urge to jump in. Most people don't I've noticed (practiced Catholicism for 27 years).
Anyhow, try practicing a little kindness, it really goes a long way.

Catholic here.
Wow. I've never seen a question like this before. How does it get to earth?
Well, holy water is simply blessed water. It is what's called a sacramental, which is a form of matter used to bestow blessings. The form is the actual physical matter, like water or oil. A priest blesses it, which is like attaching a prayer to it. This is so that whoever is receives the sacramental receives the prayer.
No, it's not the only way blessings can be bestowed.
When you speak of healings with holy water you speak of miracles, which are occurrences of the power of God. Yes, there have been miraculous healings, but holy water itself is not magical. The power of the blessing comes from God, as does the miracle.
God bless.

Holy water is holy because it has been blessed by a priest, most of the time it's just tap water, nothing special.
The healing and evil fighting abilities that you mention come about by the faith of the people involved.
Also, every Catholic church has bowls of holy water just inside the door. Catholics will dip their fingers and then make the sign of the cross as they enter the church.

Holy water is any water blessed by a priest.
I can testify that I don't think the water is as significant as you think.
When I was little, I thought why not drink it then. So I dipped my fingers in it and put it on my tong. My friends at the time were all startled and said don't do that it's dirty from everyones fingers, you'll get sick.
I told them, well if it's holy water then I won't.
I didn't get sick.
I believe it is all faith, the water is a symbol and not to be taken literal. Perhaps my faith kept me from getting sick and not the fact that the water was holly. Perhaps my immune system rocks.
Just considering all options, ask an expert and not me.
Though I can honestly say, it was a miracle I didn't get sick.

As already said, holy water is simply tap water which has been blessed. That being the case, any questions you could ask about it's use and nature would be a waste since at the end of the day, it's just water. Any supernatural properties one might attribute to it are, of-course nonsense. Although having said that, so is 99% of all religious ceremony, Catholic, Christian, Muslim or otherwise.

I was raised as a catholic and we were never taught that water was so powerful. We never worshiped Mary, We did not believe the preacher gave us forgiveness, ect... Evangelistics are the ones who sell it for $10.00 on TV. I am not Catholic now but it seems funny to see people define it when they have know Idea what it is all about. All the different forms of Christianity is just another form of Divide and Conquer.

There is no such thing as holy water. A priest, simply a man, has no power to bless ordinary water and make it holy. It is just one of many fabrications by the RCC to keep folks minds off Christ and salvation through Him alone.

I have a feeling you feel holy water contains a power that is guaranteed to cure anyone who is ill every time it is used.
While such an occurance is not beyond the realm of possibility, miracle cures are highly unlikely.
