Over grooming has two possible reasons: Flees or stress. Please check if your cats has flees. If this is not the case: Create a safe and stable environment for your cat with little stress. If she does not stop, consider with your vet a tranquilizer ("cat-prozac").

Your cat can either have a stress related problem, flees, dry skin or what they call feline acne. You need to consult with a vet to see what treatments may be needed to cure the cat of the constant grooming. If the cat has flees, dry skin or feline acne the only cure is medication. You can more than likely get a flee medicine from your local store however for the dry skin or feline acne you may need an ointment from the vet. If it's stress you need to change the environment that your cat is in some how so that the cat doesn't feel stressed. Good luck.

it may nicely be distinct elements yet listed decrease than are some that I actually have had to handle. fleas stress warm spots a nervious habbit a hypersensitivity hives if she is loosing hair in only this position and if the exterior is bumpy, pink and heat it may nicely be warm spots. For my old cat i purchased some warm spot medicine (in the spray form replaced into round 5-7.00) and it cleared the spot ceremony up. study the lables because some warm spot sprays will take care of alternative epidermis inflamitarys different then the nice and cozy spot. If taking her to the vet isn't a decision right now i'd both attempt the spray i discussed or you may rub a antibacterial cream for minor epidermis inflamitarys (may be offered for a million.00 at dollar shops), black sab, a tender anti itch cream for burns(also may be offered on the dollar save) or a thick layer of vasoline onto the spot of issue. back, if the vet isn't a decision, attempting to do some thing to help the priority is more beneficial useful then no longer some thing. If the realm will develop into scabby or begins to seep you should get her to the vet or ask acquaintances and relatives to "personal loan" you the money so she will be seen by ability of a vet. Its not in any respect sturdy at the same time as some thing is seeping. I desire you success!!

This seems a bit crazy. I think you should ask your vet for advice. Maybe your cat is stressed?

Some cats are actually "allergic" to themselves. usually an
irritation, like fleas, can start chewing and scratching. TRY
THIS: use a "slicker brush" it combs the fir and gently loosens
scabs.
