If it wont turn over, sounds like the starter is not connected, maybe a broken wire. Check there first.

If the verify engine mild could mild formerly the engine starts off, then there is likely a fault in the ignition equipment concerning to the cam or crank sensor. The enter from those sensors relay timing assistance again to the workstation so as that the right injector and spark plug should be operated. in view that there is an obtrusive failure with this equipment, the vehicle gained't start up. even if, once the verify engine mild comes on, the workstation will now no longer attempt to regulate this function, and the vehicle is authorized to start up. verify the workstation codes and locate out the position to start up searching on your difficulty. First you get it to "crank" properly, meaning the starter motor is turning the engine over. Then you may have a "starting" problem meaning the engine won't fire and run normally. If your battery's 5 years old, I'd replace it with a new battery. Otherwise, take the battery to the auto store and have it charged and "load tested" to make sure it's good. Clean the battery cable connectors with a wire brush and reinstall the new battery.

93 had throttle body injection that was notorius for broblems and electronic fuel pumps that would go out slowly. if it was an electric(spark) problem those normally come up suddenly. so im leaning to a fuel issue. have him turn key off and on without starting.if you hear fuel pump hum. then that rules that out. then take off intake to tbi and crank engine while other person whatches to see if you have a fine mist. if so then check the spark
