Would you date someone 8 years younger than you? How do men feel about seriously dating a woman 8 years older?

Is Age just a number?

At those ages it's really not that big a difference...now at 28 and 20, that's pretty big.
I personally like older women, my wife is 5 years older than am and I couldn't be happier :-) She's 47, I'm 42.
BUT, my first wife was 10 years older than me and that didn't work out.
Really depends on the people involved but I wouldn't worry too much about age. As long as you've got basically the same values and priorities you should be good.

Age is just a number to some. But you have to remember something; in a few years, you will be 40 and he will be 32. Right around 40, you will begin to show signs of aging. If he loves you, it won't matter but there is always the possibility he may start to notice the younger women. If the two of you are just dating, then have fun and laugh it up.

I'm 22, and I'd definitely date a woman 8 years older than me. The same would be true if I was 27 too.

I'd say go for it, age isn't that important if you enjoy being together. I've dated some very attractive older women, one was 40 when I was 25, and it worked out a lot better than some people my own age. Felt like there was more to explore with another age group.

I think that it depends on the man you are dating. How mature is he?? I have also read that guys act at least 5 years younger than there age.
But I think that if you are happy go for it!!!

It's okay as long as you're both consenting adults but you should realize that you two may be at different points of your lives.

I'm 19 so it would be a crime if I seriously dated someone 8 years younger than me.

age is just a number when you the same age, sorry to say, i think older ladies are hot and all but a serious relationship is out the question because its most likely that you want different things, you probably want kids soon and he still keen on waiting, sex is probably great but there gotta be more substance

It is really about the maturity of the individuals involved. Look at Susan Sarandon and Tim Robins. There is a significant gap there and they have been together for years. Not an issue if you don't make it one.

Yo, you are only 7 years older than him. If you can't do simple math maybe you should be dating 4 year old boys.
