It's you people who have constructed a jealous, ruthless, bumbling, monstrous oaf and called it "God." Could you possibly mock and demean life any more?

People altering God or standing in judgement for him, has been an issue since People began a relationship with him. 2000 years ago it was the Sanhedrin. A Jewish sect who knew the Jewish law and were held in high esteem by the faithful. Overtime, power and man's quest for it interfered and they began to love the law more than God. Less than a 1000 years ago the same thing has happened within the Catholic Church. See Joan of Arc, and France. The church of England and others.

Look at what has happened with the Islamic faith to see what can happen. A few are utilizing their god for power. Sadam Hussein, never a religious man tried to rally the faithful by having the Quran written in his own blood. He donated blood like you do at the red cross and had scribes pen the Quran in his blood as ink. The islamic faith or some of it are at war with the world to bring honor to their god. So its not just some Christians as it it some people who hijack God for power.

Some people believe they must be right. So if someone does not agree with them they must be wrong. It happens to all faiths when people use it for power, even if that power is only environmental and not a legal power.

If you read the Bible you will find that God is not a jealous, bumbling, montrous oaf. And you will also find that Christ was sent to correct what some had done. It was the Sanhedrin who behaved as you have described, who convicted Christ and put him on the cross. They were wiped out in the 70's AD. No one has heard of them since. But Christ is still THE pivitol figure in history.

Religious history is sacrilegious to a benevolent "God"...most gods in almost every religion seem to be bumbling oafs who have no interest other than their own in human existance (see: Zeus, Odin, etc.) It wasn't until Zoraster came around and suggested one diety be a force for good and another be a force for evil that benevolence came into play. Even then "benevolence" had a wide definition. The difference is all in the interpretation; when you have one god for everything, he tends to do everything; i.e. if a kid walks into a school and guns down fifty classmates, its God. if you win the lotto, its God. There needs to be some sort of delianation of tasks so we know who to blame for what.

We go by what His word says....not what our hearts say...

Our hearts are all desperately wicked.

Do you think we would make stuff like this up for fun? God is holy and requires perfection....and that perfection has been granted to us in the Person of Jesus Christ.....we will put on His perfection someday at the resurrection

christianity mocks and demeans life, with their un-proven beliefs........
just like every other religion!

Here's the Solution:

Create a private, personal, direct, divine Relationship with Our Creator and save your Soul from religion.

Only with Our Creator's Love and Peace will we be Truly Free!

Without God, there is No Love; Without religion, there are No rs!

"religion is Spiritual fraud"; "religion is the Worse invention of humanity" - Jesus Christ
