Faith is believing when you have no proof very good. I believe/have faith that the Bible was written down by humans that were inspired/full of the Holy Spirit. That the Bible is in fact the word of God. I need not prove anything for that is what faith is as you already stated. I am not trying to shove anything least of all my faith down your throat. However, I believe that you should study that which you claim is false before you judge it. I would say to you to prove that my believes are false. I think you will have a hard time proving without doubt that the Bible is not the word of God which means that not believing that the Bible is the word of God is your faith. However, in the end I think that I am right and I will be happier for it. If I am wrong I know that we will both be very unhappy because of it.

I don't see one Christian on this site poking anything down your throat, And for your information there is no such thing as Blind faith, This is something people like you that gets on here & you get so mad at people that you will make anything up, I don't have to prove God, He will do that himself, Then you will run to the mountians & cry for the rocks to fall on you to hide your face from God. Now since you think we are shoving something down your throat, May I suggest, GO TO ANOTHER SITE. Now If you want just a little taste of the Proof of God, You tell me how can any planet stay in space & have their own rotation perfectly all these millions of years. What make the trees & flowers to bloom in the spring, What makes the human body so highly designed that it can fight germs, & repair itself, What makes the sun come up & go down & why do we need a moon, Why do we need to mow our grass, Because that is the law of Nature, Now Who is the author of the law of Nature. God is. Your attitude today sounds like someone got up on the wrong side of the rock, I mean bed.

Why do some ignorant people believe that a book written by other humans is the word of a DICTIONARY???

Where is their PROOF???
Faith is something you have when you DON'T have proof!
Blind faith (believing in a dictionary) is WASTED energy, time, effort!

II. INSPIRATION AND TRUTH OF SACRED SCRIPTURE

105 God is the author of Sacred Scripture. "The divinely revealed realities, which are contained and presented in the text of Sacred Scripture, have been written down under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit."69

"For Holy Mother Church, relying on the faith of the apostolic age, accepts as sacred and canonical the books of the Old and the New Testaments, whole and entire, with all their parts, on the grounds that, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, they have God as their author, and have been handed on as such to the Church herself."70

106 God inspired the human authors of the sacred books. "To compose the sacred books, God chose certain men who, all the while he employed them in this task, made full use of their own faculties and powers so that, though he acted in them and by them, it was as true authors that they consigned to writing whatever he wanted written, and no more."71

107 The inspired books teach the truth. "Since therefore all that the inspired authors or sacred writers affirm should be regarded as affirmed by the Holy Spirit, we must acknowledge that the books of Scripture firmly, faithfully, and without error teach that truth which God, for the sake of our salvation, wished to see confided to the Sacred Scriptures."72

108 Still, the Christian faith is not a "religion of the book." Christianity is the religion of the "Word" of God, a word which is "not a written and mute word, but the Word which is incarnate and living".73 If the Scriptures are not to remain a dead letter, Christ, the eternal Word of the living God, must, through the Holy Spirit, "open [our] minds to understand the Scriptures."74

There is plenty of proof out there that the Word of God is truth. For one, there are thousands of ancient manuscripts of the Bible and it is the most reliable historical book you'll find. The Bible was written by humans, but they were godly people who were inspired by God to write the Bible. God gave these people the words to write down. The Bible is God breathed.

My faith is not blind faith. My faith is based on the Bible which is true.

Your anger is more than obvious.
But! Why take it out on humble people here who just want to help? Your animosity toward others will only result in trouble for you.
I think your using this medium because you think no one can reach you. It isn't true. Sufficient complaints will cause Yahoo to drop your e-mail. They regularly do that as punishment.

Better get right with God, and a whole lot of humble.
Peace can be found here, but you will have to look for it alone.

Jesus Christ used the Word of God "It is written" 3 times against Satan and Satan gave up and left Him. If you've ever been tempted by sin and used the Word of God against the thought in your mind and experienced the fleeing of that thought, you would realize the power in the Word of God.

If you'd ever heard the voice of God and known the hunger and thirst that I got for hearing His voice again, you would need no proof. When God speaks you never forget what He said. God says "call on Me and I will show you great and mighty things." Why don't you just call on God and let Him be the proof that you are longing for. You are no different from Doubting Thomas and God came to Thomas and made Himself known. Call on God and experience Him for yourself.

No one is shoving anything down your throat. We are far to ignorant to be able to do that.

And by the term BS, you, of course, mean "blessed savior", right? We could however try to shove it into your ear but then it would only come out the side.

I may not choose Christian beliefs for myself but I don't think it's fair to tell everyone that believes in Christ that they are wasting their time. If it brings them true happiness and helps them to love others without judgment then I think there is nothing wrong with it. I do know that anyone can use their beliefs to hurt others.

There is proof you choose not to believe. You were given knowledge of God's existance before you were born.
