I have my eyebrow, labrey, nose, tongue, and monroe piercings and next I want both my nipples pierced. Im just wondering if they are worst pain wise to pierce then the piercings I have or is it roughly the same amount of pain? Other words does piercing your nipples hurt horrible? Any advice on piercing nipples or pierced nipples would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Actually, I didn't find it to be terribly painful at all. I am a female with both nipples pierced (at 10 gauge!). When comparing it to my nose piercing, I would definitely say my nose piercing hurt worse - it stung so much tears sprung to my eyes! Getting my nipples pierced, while somewhat awkward taking off my top for a complete stranger, actually was quite a bit of a rush.

Don't be afraid! The reward is a great deal more than the initial unpleasantness ;)

Also: I got mine pierced at 10 with straight barbells. While I recommend getting straight barbells for jewelry, I recommend going with a 14 or 12 gauge if you want to purchase all the glittery (non-plain) jewelry - I have yet to find flashy nipple jewelry in my gauge, and I've looked extensively.

You cannot compare the pain of facial and ear piercings to this. Its somewhat like an apples or oranges thing. Nipples are generally sensitive though that can vary from person to person. All in all the pain will vary from person to person so no one can tell you how bad its going to feel. It might be horrible, it might be tolerable and just pinch a little, I don't know.

But here's what I do know. Skilled piercers are quick so that means the pain of the piercing itself is somewhat limited. Of course once the first one is done, the second tends to hurt more just because you know what to expect. Furthermore, your nipples will be sore for a while. Mine were sore for about a month and it was just an overall ache that was tolerable and annoying depending on the day. I have both horizontal and vertical piercings done at 12g (note that 14g should be the VERY minimal gauge used)

Its generally easier to get the piercings done with straight barbells, though when done with the correct diameter, CBRs can be fine.

Keep these piercings clean! Its very important that you take care of them properly while they heal. No oral contact and heavy play for at least 3 months and for that same period of time you need to wear a bra day and night to make sure the piercings aren't pulled around. It will help reduce risk for migration and rejection. Always wear a clean bra, or if you don't want to clean your bras daily, cut a panty liner and put it in the cup so that the discharge doesn't stain your bras. Healing time for this piercing is about 8 months but can take up to a ear for some people.

If you have more specific questions, feel free to ask me or just be sure to ask your piercer before you get the piercing done. Good luck.

It depends on your own personal tolerance to pain. Everyone is different, just as everyone that gets a tattoo is different. I thought that my nipples were one of the easier piercings I have in terms of pain, and the ear cartilage is the worst. Just make sure that you so to a professional, and you should be fine

I haven't got mine done, but i have talked to alot of people and
they all tend to say the same thing, the general stinging feeling that goes along with any piercing is alot stronger, so depending on how sensitive they are they could possibly hurt more. But afterwards it turns to a very hot sensation soon afterwards, not really painful just very uncomfortable for a while.
On a terms of pain, this is a list from most painful to least painful based on peoples experiences, its comes 7th here so there is no way of telling exactly how painful it will be, it depends on your own pain threshold alot of the time.
1. Eyebrow
2. Earlobe
3. Tongue
4. Navel
5. Nostril
6. Labret/Lip
7. Female Nipple
8. Cartilage Piercings
9. Male Nipple
10. Genitals

I have my lip , sabia , tounge , breasts , belly and ears ....
Of all my piercings I had my tounge done 3 times and all felt lil less painful each time. My sabia hurt like hell. My lip was prolly the worst and my ears of course nothing ...
The breasts were painful but I did do them myself so honestly it wasnt that bad.
The worst part of the breasts was the clamps. It was uncomfortable to the point it pretty much masked the pain of the actual piercing. So on a scale of one to ten I would say a 6 to 7. Not intolerable.

To me it was my most painful piercing by far, I just have my ears, tongue, nose, and belly button but when I got my nipple it was the worst.

I didn't think that it hurt too bad. It was a different kind of hurt from my ears, nose, rook, tongue, and belly button. The pinch was much more "sharp" feeling, and after they were pierced, instead of being sore, every once in a while I would just feel that "sharpness"

It definitely depends on your pain tolerance. My girlfriend said hers hurt a lot when she had them pierced. On the other hand, mine didn't hurt at all. A few of my friends were there when I got mine done, and were shocked that I didn't even flinch(and yes, both were done).

I'm not sure. I'll tell you in about a week and a half. :P

Once my taxes money comes back I'm going straight to the piercing studio.

Everyone I've talked to says that it hurts. But it's all on your body and how you react to pain.

Also... Just so you know... It's LabreT not labrey. :P
