Do other christian sects like the new age christianity and what it teachs people?

i have personaly met one of these folks and went to one of there bible studies as a part of learning about christianity.

accourding to what i remember they believe that people can be healed thru prayer and that the bible is a book of miracles that anyone can perform.

You'll find that a lot of sects are quite closed to the teaching of New Age Christianity, and regard anything "New Age" as very suspicious. Some will actually try to tell you that there's no such thing, although it's been around for a long time. However, others are much more open to accepting such doctrines. It just depends upon the group in question. I've attended a few New Age Christian services, and have a friend who's involved in the movement. The local Unity church occasionally hosts New Age type speakers and presentations.

Looking at your link shows a faith with a lot of wishful thinking. Now, the bible does not actually state that the time of faith healing and speaking in tongues has come to the end. And if you believe that the charismatic churches might be for you, but this new age Chrisitanity seems to ignore the single central tenant of Christianity, which is only belief in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, as the sacrifice for your human sins will get you into heaven. I would suggest that this religion suggests that it is "Christianity" but it really isn't orthodox.

I also want to suggest that you look through the bible, and see how often angels and humans interact, especially in the new testament. It's pretty rare, but most new age religions put a lot of stock in it. Just a suggestion.
