I use MS Outlook calendar and tasks. I don't use it for email. What files do I back up to safeguard the data?

Thanks in advance for your input.

Search for a file with a .pst ending and if the date on the file is the date and time of your last modification you have found the file you need to back up. please note however that outlook can also have a personal address book and a file with a .pab ending depending on how its been installed and what version is being used. - hope this helps you.

Its the pst file... go to the file menu and select data file management option... you will see the files list and the location... just backup the pst files...

These instructions vary depending on the outlook version so another way to do it is to search for .pst files on your "PROFILE" i.e documents and settings folder...

All the best..

relying on what version of outlook - microsoft or exhibit, it may ward off or backup your PST record or DBX record. those will comprise emails and folders. For the address e book seek for wab or mbx information.
