Never have sex until you are ready. If someone breaks up with you because you won't have sex with him he is definitely not worth it. Your virginity is sacred and you should keep it as long as you want.
If you are not feeling ready for sex don't do it, your first time should be with someone you love and trust completely. Don't let anyone pressure you.

If you're not comfortable, then wait until you are. Obviously, since this will be the third date, there is a mutual interest. If he is truly interested in seeing where this will go he will wait until you are ready. It sounds very cliche, but it is true. You should pride yourself on being a virgin and don't be willing to let it go so easily. You are right to be hesitant - sex is the best it can be when it's meant to happen - trust me on that. You definitely don't want your first time to be with someone you're unsure about. Have fun on your date !!

I wouldn't put a timeline on a waiting period, but do tell him you aren't ready, and you'll let him know when you are. But don't just pick a night and say ok tonoght is the night. Too much pressure. Let things flow the way they do. You'll know.

No a couple of months is not too long. In fact if it takes until your wedding day, it isnt up to him, it is up to you. You should not feel any pressure at all no matter what friends have said. Listen to your heart.

I think you should talk to him and explain to him that you are a virgin and you want to wait to have sex, if he really likes you then he will not have a problem with this.

You should ask him to wait, i wouldnt necessary set a certain time frame on it though.. i wouldnt say a couple of months. just tell him you need to wait.. cause you may feel it is time before that.

You might want to let him know this and say you would like to take your time. Each week you can tease him with a little more and go a little further and when you eventually do have sex it will be simply superb! :)
