Keep in mind, you see many more hands per hours online compare to a live game. So, yes more bad beat. I know beginners who play on NLOP, and there are happy about it. I don't see why it will be rigged.
Try again, and have fun. It's free anyway if I remember, so you don't risk your money. Players are more loose because of that, so there is more player in a pot, there are not aware of position, or choosing good starting hands......So more chance for you to receive a bad beat.
Take care

I'm afraid you're having a run of bad luck if they are truly bad beats as you say. The play is extremely loose on this site due to the fact that there is no real money invested. I can finish in the points 80% of the time on the single tables by playing extremely tight in the beginning. Half the field is usually eliminated by the 2nd or 3rd blind level. There are some decent players, but too many people are so bad that they feel the need to go all in on the 1st hand. Because of this I will fold just about any hand (even aces) until a few are eliminated, which is usually very quickly.

I have played it quite a bit and I do not think it is rigged. I think there is alot less questionable playing than I have seen in the past. There are a lot of bad players and some that will not let go of their hands and is why you are suffering so many bad beats. The one complaint I have on the site is all the ads they send at you which causes problems if you do not have a fast internet connection. There are some cheaters on this site but there is cheaters on every poker site. I have made it to step ten several times but there are a set of rules and a strategy that I live by to get through the steps. I suggest you look into David Sklansky and you will do much better.

Yeah I believe all poker sites are rigged but the real reason is why?? Because, they are sick twisted individuals. Ego's. Revenge. Payback.
The software can easily detect key traits of players, and flag them so they can be toyed with. It's a psychological warfare, aimed to annoy and deter people they feel threatened by.

YES IT IS RIGGED! I BEEN PLAYING THERE FOR A MONTH AND TALKED TO PLAYERS WHO WORK THERE ! THEY ARE GIVEN A GOD MODE PROGRAM TO SEE ALL CARDS PLUS COMING CARDS!
I HAD A FRIEND WHO WORKED FOR ANOTHER SITE DOING THE SAME THING UNTIL THEY GOT CAUGHT AND 5 SITES WERE CLOSED DOWN.
NEVER PUT MONEY INTO AN ONLINE SITE!!!
THEY ARE ALL RIGGED WITH WORKER PLAYERS WHO GET $15-$20 AN HOUR!
