I'm not sure about pills etc. I'll tell you what I did.
I opted for a high fibre and high proteing breakfast and avoided foods made from refined flour (e.g. white breads.). I started eating a lower calorie lunch than I was used to, low on carbohydrates and high on veggies, with protein. Dinner is also low in carbs, high in veg and some protein.
Then I try to have a snack (approx. 100 calories) midway between breakfast and lunch, around 10:00 a.m. Fruit, carroot sticks something like that is best. I try to drink more water during the day and work out at least three times a week.
Even if I slip on the cards, I always make sure that meals and snacks are low fat, more important I think.
To my surprise my sugar cravings have all but disappeared and even if I say I want a brownie its easier to pass it by.

time to clean out the fridge, freezer and food cupboard so that you cannot succumb. Vegetables and fruit are the only things you can munch on; make sure at more rational moments that these are the only things available leave all those other temptations in the supermarket. It is a lot easier that way. Your shopping will be less costly and you will not have so much to carry. You do not need diet pills. Vitamins are OK but just take an overall one not a series of different types as it can get a bit confusing. The cravings will get milder just learn to live with them. If it were easy we would all be thinner. Look at taking up a hobby-------- something to keep you interested and your hands busy. Exercising is good even the occasional walk around the block. If you do slip use it as a learning experience and try not to repeat it. If you find any easier way please please share it with the rest of us.......

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.
Get started today!

Diet pills and vitamins are the new name for "uncle johns miracle tonic to help loose weight." By planning and eating 5 smaller satisfying meals combined with a proper exercise routine you will loose weight. Some self control is going to play into this. Why are you loosing weight so you can fit in with everyone else or you want to be healthier ... find that out too. It's like quiting smoking when you like to smoke but know it's bad for you. Find more information out at yahoo Health under more services. I've been hurt on the job and due to inactivity gained substantial weight you have to start slow and work your way back into it. Just a tip if your loosing weight to fast that's bad, if it's slow and consistent that's good.

don't take any pills or diet rip offs. just eat every 2 hours , fruit cereal, any thing that is low fat, yogurt, count calories. that is the best way. 1,000, will make you lose real fast, if you stick to a 1,500 it will go off slower and you'll never be hungry, there is a lot of low fat foods on the market right now, i make my own salad dressing with a mixture of low fat dressings, you can mix sweet, sour, blue cheeze, ranch, raspberry walnut. you'll love it makes all salads taste delicous. i lost 18 lbs this way, and you don't get stuck on the diet pill, that you have to take forever. i am going for another 15 lbs now. try to limit yourself to about 200 calories at a time , except dinner that can be between 300 and 400 calories, always have a dessert after dinner a bowl of strawberries with light whip topping works well or any other fruit.good luck J.C.

You could chew some gum. I chew gum to curb cravings, but also sometimes like to drink a warm cup of tea. Double bonus---drinking tea helps with digestion! What about trying weight watchers cakes or ice cream. Their point system is great and some of their desserts are pretty low in points. I love sweets too! Stay strong ;)

This may work. Sunflower seeds. I know a lot of people that have used Sun flower seeds to both quit smoking, and lose weight.
