Yes. It has helped me to realize that I can't live this life without God.I can try,but I fail without God's help. The pain that I have felt, helps me to appreciate all the wonderful things that I do have.It gives me humility.Pain helps me to learn and grow in every aspect of life.Every situation I've ever been in,has made me realize what a strong person I am and I have been fortunate enough to help others avoid painful situations by learning from my mistakes. It has helped me to be more compassionate towards others and whatever they go through.I wouldn't trade any painful situation I've been through.I've learned so much from them. What I've learned, you can't learn from any book. There is no better education, than the lessons you learn from life experiences.

Yes. I think the experience make the person. There's a part of me who wishes I could have had a happy go lucky childhood, easy years in HS and college, and a smooth marriage, but realistically speaking...I don't know who I would be now and I am happy with who I'm becoming. Right now, I struggle with my husband, and though I feel it would be easier to walk away, I know that I'm here for a reason and I know that I will come out stronger for it. Gotta have faith. I wouldn't give back what I've learned so far, so why be upset now. It's just another situation to make me smarter, stronger, and wiser.

Pain is universal. We all understand it. Most of us hate it (I said MOST because we have some sick individuals that actually like pain). Mistakes usually cause pain of some sort whether it be physical or emotional. In order to avoid pain, we learn from our mistakes.

In short, without pain, we don't grow.

So the answer to your question is YES.

Actually not. What has made me grow spiritually is my curiosity about the unknown. I went to several churches, I read books, and had experiences that led me to where I am now. When my daughter was about 2 years-old, she used to see spirits, and that's how I became Spiritist. If you want to know more about my religion search Spiritism.

Peace!

Yes, absolutely. It would take a book for me to explain.
When I was a little girl, Jesus got me through some very tough times. I prayed alot and he answered me. When I didn't pray.... it was much harder. I read a book Faith rest. Rest in Jesus, pray and have faith he'll answer you, he always delivered me from my pain. That is when I knew. I was 8 years old.

Because through victory we learn to grow.

When I struggle with something and then overcome the spiritual battle, it teaches me stronger faith.

My learning to accept pain as impermanent has helped me become more at peace but there is still a long way to go.

Suffering calls you to rely God's Provision. I prefer to grow the other way, through service. Give it a try.
