I’m just curious? We seem like a cosmetic society and I was wondering how others felt about this question? I can’t wait until someone of you out there in answers land labels me as a cartoon racist!

lol Just food for thought. The question struck me as a funny one!

For me,the avatar has nothing to do with whether I answer a question or not. It's the question itself. I answer questions that I find interesting or funny. If I can give an answer or help in any way, then I do my best to do so. An avatar, for the most part, doesn't reflect who a person actually is,or what they're about. An avatar is kind of like a "style". It's just personal preference.I actually like most of the avatars on line. I only have a problem with the extremely vulgar and inappropriate ones,IE: pictures of genitals and the like.In my opinion, they don't belong on yahoo. This is not a porn site, you know?

I find it slightly disturbing when people are "attracted" to cartoons persay... but to each their own.

No I answer based on interest in the subject, although sometimes I find it awkward when a person doesn't have an avatar I just like, stare at that gray blob and wonder what this person perceives themselves as. Although I change the way mine looks all the time and it rarely looks like me hehe, I just like to have fun with it.

you have made an very exciting question. And being curious is what we gain this as to learn from others. I sometime do the two. enable's me clarify. sometime i will look at their avatar the two its a comic book strip, landscapes, animals, or in elementary terms a ****up pictures( i'm happy there are in elementary terms a number of them right here.) and that i additionally look on the question that they've publish it. So its relies upon on the question if I even have something to declare from my own reviews or archives I merely got here upon i will share. yet while the two the avatar or the question makes me uncomfortable then i will merely moved on. Like an occasion:: ought to I kill myself? and their avatar sounds like charlie masons or what of the different undesirable serial killers. Does that makes me think of that guy or woman is rather a foul guy or woman and could merely kill himself or is it rather in elementary terms a shy 11-years old boy merely desirous to marvel people out. Like I suggested its relies upon on how i've got faith concerning the excellent questions kit. So how do you sense approximately me? :-) Love and Peace.

I hardly look at the avatars. Sometimes I notice them at a glance but I mostly look at the question itself, and I certainly wouldn't answer or avoid answering a question based on someone's picture.

Well, I don't really care, it's the question that interests me more. If the avatar is great and the question is boring I wont answer the question. But I also find that those with more interesting avatars ask more interesting questions.

Nope, but I do avoid reading the questions from people who don't have a picture. I just scroll down till I find a picture! = )
