With my usual disbelief that so many people connect the symbols and practices of the rites of Ostara to the Christian Easter Sunday morning.

With family, I will eat some chocolate "Easter Eggs" and take a walk outside, bring some flowers in to put in a vase; stuff like that.

when the earth bring forth life in the spring again after the death of winter it's a reminder of God's creation and recreation and particularly a reminder of the redemption in the death and resurection of freedom from bondage whether it be in the passover or Easter (easter being from an old english word astire to 'rise')

Well, I'm a bit stuck on that. I'm living in Mexico, which rather disrupts my normal routine (not to mention it's a Catholic country). There are no fields to dance in, no place for a bonfire, no wildflowers....so I'm not sure what to do. But yes, I will be celebrating.

many will be celebrating a mix of lots of religions--it is all mixed up now. Very hard to have a celebration that is PURE.
