I feel the problem isn't the colour of your hair it is more to do with how you feel about it yourself. If you think that changing your colour will gain you popularity with the boys then you are mistaken. What you need is a confidence boost. People who are proud of themselves have an air of confidence about them that no man can resist. Any girl or boy who doesn't believe in themselves tends to give off that vibe to others. If you don't like the way you look then how are you going to convince others that you are likable? It is the law of attraction you need to get in your head not on it. Positive thoughts of yourself will attract positive thoughts from others and negative ones will attract negative ones. I have clients who have Strawberry blonde put in their hair because it is a lovely colour and they pay a lot of money for it. And you have it for free? Cool. Get your chin up and think positive and watch what happens.
Good Luck.

When we are younger we can be influenced by what the opposite sex thinks. ( noooo..) When we look at ourselves as a whole, our skin tones, eyes and everything else matches with our hair and visa versa. Our natural underlining pigment color is all over us. As a hairdresser I say that you will come to discover that you are in a color level that the majority of people would like to have. Unfortunately you don't realize that when you are younger. If you want a change put highlights or lowlights and even both at the same time. Make them a little chunky at the very least. Stay in your same color tone in order to create a cool but unique look. This technique will be lower maintenance and last you longer in between services. Your hairstyles that you do after can use these strands of different tones to be more creative and different in themselves. Go to a professional don't do it yourself. I'm sure you can say you are worth the investment?

Strawberry blonde is a lovely color. I doubt that no boy likes it. Even if that were true, please don't base your self worth on what your hair color is, or if a boy likes or dislikes it.

I'm not sure how long your hair is, or what texture it is but wearing your hair down might be the first step. Again, your hair doesn't define you so you can wear your hair however you like.

Style it the way you like it, you are the one who has to wear it!

If you absolutely must change your hair, go to a good salon. Someone there can help you find the right style for the shape of your face.

It shouldn't matter what boys or anyone else thinks. It's what you like. Do you like your hair color? And style it how it feels right! look in the mirror and do something with your hair that makes you feel good about yourself. Who cares about what anyone else thinks! :) Be yourself, and enjoy your life.
