i dont want to hear not a true christian. "if it walks like a duck qaucks like a duck its a duck" if a person reads the bible believes in the bible and does what the bible says then you are still a christian period.

I really think the majority of Christians aren't claiming persecution. It's the very vocal Fundamentalists who are mostly spurred on by their fanatical leaders. I hope the "silent majority" has shifted to become more moderate. Pray that they make themselves known at the polls.

I am a Christian. I don't "scream" persecution, nor do I persecute others.
How can you hold Christians of today responsible for what others have done? Tell me, if one black man is a criminal, does that mean ALL black men are criminals? Of course not! If ONE rock artist is a drug addict, does that mean they all are? Certainly not! What about women? If one woman is a backstabbing, adulterous, evil person, does that mean ALL women are? NO! If one atheist murders somebody, does that make ALL atheists murderers? Of course not! And Hitler was Austrian. Does that mean that ALL Austrians are like Hitler? NO!
Quit judging all by the actions of a few. I hate no one. People can claim to be whatever they want, but only God will judge them, and I believe He will judge those who misuse His Name VERY harshly.
Do you HONESTLY think, if there IS a God, and everything in the Bible is true, that God would let someone into heaven after they claimed to follow Him, and then did exactly the opposite of what He commanded? I don't believe that for a second!
The Crusades, the Inquisition, the hatred of the KKK and the bigotry present in some who call themselves Christians are instruments of SATAN, not God! THEY may have called themselves Christians, but they are NOT following the Bible if they hate others. Therefore, they are NOT Christians.

This is typical of religions.

They inflict pain and death, then ask for forgiveness, and finally forget all they did.

So the church that condemned Galilee asks now for forgiveness. Maybe in centuries they will also ask forgiveness for the millions of catholic women (faithful to their husbands) which now die of AIDS and the millions of undesired (and neglected or mistreated by their parents) children born because their medieval notion of sexuality.

Another liberal with their panties in a bunch. You ask a question and they tell people what not to respond with. Do you not want the real answer?

You probably still think Islam is the "Religion of Peace" too right?

I don't persecute anyone.
