Someone was probably offended by the sexual nature of this joke. ("Oh no, a DIRTY joke! Gasp!")
It's not laugh out loud funny (to me) but the pun rescues it from being a total write-off.
Maybe an (even older than I am) old lady took offense at the "ageist" aspects of this. Who knows!
I've seen a lot worse stuff -- racist, sexist, anti-Semitic -- get through here.
