99 Maxima, sound system question?

Trying to make a good decision as to which way to fire my subs.

I am going to custom build a ported fiberglass box, so I need to know before I build it.

Its going into a 99 maxima and I want to know if it is best to fire the subs through the back seats or fire them at the trunk lid?

I want as much possible bass inside the cab, dont really care how good it sounds outside. I also dont want the spl from the subs to distort my componets in the read deck.

I am pushing 1600 watts RMS out of two high excursion 12's

LOL the system actually did shatter the rear glass in my truck.

Being that I am building a custom box and have this much power I would rather fire them the right way the first time, than be sorry after install

Foward thru the seat backs. With that much power you should be able to loosen up the body bolts. Or break the windows
