I left artwork early to have a follow-up eye exam, and each thing replaced into acceptable. as well, i visit study with both eyes and note distance with both at 20-20. the right eye nevertheless sees distance more beneficial useful. Following the Laser surgical operation, they basically requested that I stay in mattress for a minimum of 36 hours and attempt now to not bypass my head too a lot. I had no soreness, and nevertheless have tremendous ingenious and prescient. My physician has finished a follow-up and that i do no longer yet favor more beneficial correction. I had this done, too! Mine turned out perfectly. I would buy my 'refresh' eye drops, in advance. They do not harm the eye at all, and the eye surgeon told me to buy this, when I had my eyes done. I would explain to people that I would need to lie down for about two weeks, and not be able to lift anything at all for about the same time period. My directions were: not to drive for about a month. I felt fine, and I did drive.........and it was not good. I was rearended, HARD, by a car, and it really scared me. I was afraid I had undone my surgery, or had done something to hurt it. I had not. But, now, I understand why they tell you NOT to drive for a while. Stay down, don't lift, have your eye drops ready. You are going to love seeing everything with new vision! I do!

I had it done 3 years ago it was the scariest most horrible thing I have ever experienced worse than labour with no gas and air BUT that only lasted minuted and the positive side of it is amazing - no steaming up - walking in the rain - seeing the clock next to your bed - going swimming without fear and sliding down them water slides could carry on like this for days!!
My life was changed dramatically!
Go for it!

Your optician should have provided all the advice you need. If not, go back and ask them for more. Did they also mention that if your prescription changes every year or two (ie. your eyes get worse) then your surgery effects will not last too long and you will need glasses again. They never seem to mention that point.

Best thing I ever did. My eyes felt a little dry and scratchy the next day. Just a little nerve racking to see the lazer coming at you. It is over quick. Yeah, no more glasses.

I have often thought of doing the same thing, but it bothers me that some thing could go wrong, so I wish you good luck, I am long sighted, but I think I might just stick to wearing glasses. (",)
