I find that the elliptical gives me a better workout b/c it isn't so harsh on my knees or ankles (the impact of running on a treadmill slows me down). I find that if I use an elliptical, I can normally stay on for an hour, versus only a half hour (at the most) for the treadmill.

I don't own a treadmill (wish I did), but my eliptical machine isn't nearly as good of a workout as jogging!
the eliptical machine is just too easy.. I have to go really fast on it if I want a workout that's as good as jogging.. it seems like I'm being rough on the machine when I go too fast though.. like it's going to fall apart or something..
