Yes! also have recently found out it goes up while you are driving. Me and husband have been religiously monitoring his bp for a month or so and he was having a nightmare about 2 weeks ago so I woke him a checked the bp it was sky high but went down to normal within 20 minutes. His pulse was very high also. Hope this helps.

Yes it rises but additionally a real frightening night mare could precipitate a heart attack if you were prone to one.

I would think so. I know your heart rate increases and adrenaline is released so it probably does.

it shouldn`t rise!
in sleep your whole body is relaxed, only if you have nightmares your muscles will contract.
