I am sure that the regular milk there woudl be fine..or you could take along some of that formula that is made for 12 to 36 month olds. I know most kids go on regular whole milk around a yr old, but for the trip you could use that formula if you are worried.

I live in Italy and the day care give the kids local cows milk and they love it. If you are worried about the nutrician content, pack some pedia sure or carnation instant breakfast packets (loaded with nutrients and vitamins, plus masks the taste), But if your son is used to formula and is not doing well with milk, maybe he might like the milk where you're going. I strongly believe our milk in the States is pretty unhealthy full of hormones and disgusting things. (www.nomilk.com). Enjoy your trip.
ps. make sure your immunizations match the country. My family had to get Hep A out here.

Your 18 month old should have homogenized milk. He does not need his bottles sterilized, but depending on which country you are going to, this might not be a bad idea. You can buy pre-made formula which comes ready made in bottles. This is sterile and would be really easy to use on your trip.

the cup he oftentimes makes use of is effective.. start up off with fairly some water and fairly milk upload a lot less water and larger milk universal he will eventually get used to the flavor of milk in his sippy. today its no longer a "major" challenge about milk because he's getting the calcium from the yogurt and cheese.. nutrition D he receives from taking area in out area in the mild. come the time even as he's in doors more advantageous then it really is going to be more advantageous of a challenge. or in simple terms furnish him milk in his sippy and under no circumstances something else. he's eighteen months old so milk isn't his familiar source of food he will eventually get thirsty sufficient to easily drink it. do not provide up on him this may be like us walking somewhat of using... we can do it yet its only a serious life change. Dont provide up on him it is going to all workout recurring in his time no longer yours....

I would get the sealed little boxes (like a Ribena carton) or SMA milk. Or I think they do one now that comes in a bottle, like a water bottle. I think it would be much safer than giving him milk abroad. You dont know that it will have been stored at the correct temperatures etc.

If you want to sterilise the bottles, you can buy sterilising tablets and do them in any sink or bowl. You just add the tablets to water and let the bottles soak for a few hours.
