I commend you! Check the internet (google) or the yellow pages of your area and look for Vocational Rehabilitation centers. These centers offer Work hardening, work integration, a Career profile that's very detailed and accurate. Some offer Resume assistance and job offers.

Check with your Disability benefit provider, they may carry the fees that are involved for the Voc Rehab as it can be pretty expensive through a for-profit firm. Asking them if they can or do work with a Voc Rehab center will possibly get them involved to help. There are non-profit centers out there as well.

Possibly March of Dimes (if in your area). They offer similar assistance to the Voc Rehab with the additional resource for physio. Sometimes local hospitals offer a Rehab clinic which offers a wide range of services and assistance.

I've been through this route and if I can give one piece of advice it would definitely be...go in as tho you are ready and willing to work but also keep with you that your disability, not you, may make it unlikely.

I wish you the best of luck and hope that it all works out well for you...take care
