I don't mean to sound harsh, but, yeah okay, I do mean to sound harsh - are you stupid? How old are you and how old is he? Don't you ever watch the news or TV? Haven't you heard of how many women and girls go missing by doing stupid stuff like this? Is a "cute boy" worth getting drugged and raped - or worse, ending up in a ditch somewhere? Get a clue and wake up to yourself little girl!! Your parents would be ashamed of you if they knew...

Nicole (and others), life is a matter of taking risks and chances. But sensible ones. No matter how 'cute' some people might be on the internet, it doesn't necessarily mean that they are like that in real life. Unfortunately, myspace has also fallen prey to having paedophiles and child molesters disguised as teens to try and take mean advantage of a minor's trust - but it doesn't mean to say that EVERYONE on myspace.com is a bad person. I've only ever met people on the internet through professional websites like those for models and musicians and got on quite well with them - after which I offered to put them onto my myspace page because they are mature, sane and trustworthy.
If you want to meet this guy, I'd say you should exchange 10 emails with him first and if he still wants to meet you then by all means bring either a relative or a mate with you. A gal your age can never be too careful in this day and age.

they could say they are a doctor and be a rapist
you do not know this person, you only know what they have told you and that may or may not be true
if you are an adult and choose to meet them then do so by going to a public place like McDonalds and do not go anywhere alone with them even for a second
do a background check on them before you even go meet them and if you do not find their name and picture on the background check then don't go
if you are a minor, don't even think about going...many young girls have been raped, tortured, and killed from older guys luring them into going to meet them ...stay safe

Its safe to meet them in public, just don't meet at your house or anything, i mean if he doesn't sound like a total creep then its o.k. to meet them at their house or yours :) I met a couple people off there and they weren't bad at all.
