i am 38 years and my peroid only last 2 days full stop. before i would at least get 3 days of peroid and definatly 1 day of light discharge how come this. do things get less as you age

as you get older it becomes less you should count yourself lucky i get about a 7-8day period

Periods do change over the years. Likely there is nothing to worry about at all.
Mine has changed too in the last 2 years. A couple less days, less cramping, but more headaches. Our periods do not stay the same through all the years.

yeah it does change as you get older... and keeps changing...just when you get used to one way TA-DA something else! I'm 46 and i aint had one since 1st of dec.06, which sounds great, but from what ive heard from others Im not getting my hopes up just yet! When the hot flashes start remember "black cohash" in the vitamin dept! Its a life saver! and dont give up on it if it doesnt seem to work immediately, keep taking it. It takes a while to get built up in your system apparently, but i am flash-free now! :)
