Had a lazy day yesterday after all that booze over the weekend .. so Welsh lamb or Prime Scottish beef ? what do u think ? I am fed up of chicken and wanted some red meat ... don't like pork so thats a no no .... have all the veg some sweet potatoes and a butternut squash to roast just undecided on the meat ....

I think you should call it a Monday roast but Lamb is nice with mint sauce

Just be sure what you buy, did you see the article on the news about meat. Lamb that has been reared in New Zealand but slaughtered and packaged in Wales is classed as Welsh lamb. The same with beef and countries like Argentina. Get your meat from a butcher - be sure where it has come from.

me thinks beef would probably be best with butternut squash and sweet potatoes. make sure its nice and pink in the middle... yummy i'm hungry now...

beef every time welsh lamb is too greasey

don`t over cook the beef and let it rest enjoy
