Well no, not really. Church isn't a 24/7 thing, they do actually close the building down now and then. Even if you joined a mega-church, there would be days and times you wouldn't be at the church or at a group meeting.

But I do think that some Christian folk get too involved in the goings on of their church and need to spend more time with family and other friends. How can they spread the good news of Jesus if the only people they ever see already know?

Yes, they get so involved in what they are told that they forget to check facts for themselves and go on blindly. In this way they ignore scientific discovery, human nature, and anything else that goes against what they are told in their church.
