I live upcountry and am wondering what I should use for hi-speed internet and satellite or other tv - they are talking abt ADSL in my village soon, but even in town it seems slow.. any good options out there?

If the place you are living is not too far from province central, Suppose even you live in sub-district like me, but near the node not too far over 5 kilometers, then you can apply ADSL.
As myself, I stay away from Bangkok almost 1,100 (One Thousand one hundred kilometres) but I can apply this programme, please check the area by access above mentioned link.
It also provided Eng language. Good Luck

I have ADSL in Bangkok with 256 K, the slowest they offer, but it seems to be ok. I have it with True. I think this is your best choice.

try www.sopcast.org for TV for internet try True or CAT but I find TRUE good.
