grilled chicken breast with salad leaves, olives and diced avocado - it's simple and healthy (obviously olives and avocado have fat in, but they're really good for you)

Make some whole wheat pasta with tomato sauce.
Avoid butter and sauces.
Tomato sauce is fine, just don't use butter, use olive oil.
Cook vegetable lightly with olive oil for just a few minutes. Don't over cook, taste it before you serve it or pack it.
Salad does not help your diet because of the dressing.
Just cook it with some salt and fish sauce from a Chinese store called Squid fish sauce.
Your body needs oil, use olive, vegetable, canola or healthy oils.
If you can't cook, learn to cook.
Don't worry about failure. That's how you learn.
You will eat healthier and save money at the same time.
American eat too much meat, we should eat like Asians (not American Asians).
You meal should be 30% carb to fill you up, 50% vegetable, and 20% meat the most.

The most natural and healthy diet for humans is an omnivorous diet, and not a plant based diet, or a meat-based diet per se. The Paleo Diet can be very widely varied and omnivorous for the most part, but the most important thing is that it’s unprocessed, and avoids the worst foods that agriculture brought mankind… refined inflammatory vegetable oils, refined grains (some are worse than others), and sugar! As you can see, the benefits of adopting a Paleo way of eating can be incredible! I’ve been eating 95% Paleo for the last 5-6 years and I’ve never felt better. I have dozens of friends that have adopted a more Paleo way of eating too, and have seen all sorts of health problems disappear, including eliminating acne and other skin problems, digestion problems, improving brain clarity, and of course, losing a lot of body fat!

well you could try taking a salad in a plastic tub,
put lettuce, grated carrots, cucumber, green peppers perhaps raw mushrooms, you could use tomatos but they might make the salad soggy.
Then you could add some protein, perhaps a tin of tuna or some slices of chicken roll, or you could cook some chicken or turkey yourself the night before, and put into the salad cold.

I found eating salads like this very useful when I was loosing weight as if you include enough of the salad it can be very filling but not very fattening

Try Cedar Lane low fat burritos. I have one every day. Absolutely delicious. Just wrap in a paper towel and microwave for 2 minutes. Yummy! Not spicy, just right. You can get a box of 8 in Costco, or smaller package in a supermarket.

I don't think you can lose that much weight if you eat a lot for both your lunch and your dinner. I lost weight because I eat breakfast at home (usually cereal), I bring fruit for lunch and low fat yogurt or Nutri Gram bar or Trail Mix and i eat dinner at home. So, try this and you'll lose weight for sure:

breakfast - cereal
lunch - fruit + low fat yogurt (insted of yogurt you can bring a healthy bar from home)
dinner - as usual (vegetables + protein)
late night snack - fruit

Enjoy and start losing weight!!!

I like to use a potato slicer and peel a courgette, marinade the slices in some olive oil and white wine vinegar, couple of chillis. Simple and delicious.

Simple but tasty:

Make a turkey cold cut sandwich on marble rye bread with chunky cranberry sauce instead of mayo. Yummy.
