The people who say such things know very little about where their own Churches came from. Jesus taught us we will know His followers by what they do. Jesus taught love and peace, compassion, and tolerance, self-less service and the the brotherhood of humanity. Those that take His Gospel message and use it to spread hatred are turning the Gospel on its head. They are doing the opposite of what Jesus taught, yet doing it in His name. That is truly anti-christian and such people will become the future followers of the actual anti-christ. Even Satan himself can quote scriptures, so you tell me how some people can memorize the whole Bible and miss the whole point? Who really is the anti-christ? We don't know yet but it looks as if his followers or at least their doctrines are already here. Peace be with you

It might be convincing, but it's not accurate. For starters...
It left out the beast. The whore/harlot is sitting on many waters...but she is on a beast. What does the beast represent? Political elements. Has the Catholic church influenced the political system? Yes. But it's not the only one.
And it says John was shown the vision during the reign of the "one that is" (John Paul II). Come on. The writing of Revelation was complete before 100 C.E. so he obviously was shown the vision MUCH, MUCH earlier.

Because the Catholic church has been at the forefront in creating lies about the truth of Christianity and Jesus and Mary Magdalene...
Women are a threat to them somehow, so they need to basically create a religion where the men were all powerful and women were whores.
perhaps so they could sodomize each other without protest!
